3. What Data Will Be Deleted

4. What Data May Be Retained
In certain circumstances, we may retain some information even after a deletion request, as required or permitted by law:

- We will disconnect all integrations but cannot remove content from external platforms
5. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data through multiple methods:
5.1 Self-Service Account Deletion
Quick Account Deletion (Recommended)
- Log in to your Kineiro account
- Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Review the data deletion information
- Confirm your identity with your password
- Click “Permanently Delete My Account”
- You will receive a confirmation email with a final confirmation link
- Click the confirmation link within 48 hours to complete deletion
5.2 Email Request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Account username (if applicable)
- Brief reason for deletion (optional but helpful)
- Any specific data categories you want deleted (if requesting partial deletion)
5.3 Support Ticket
Submit a support ticket through our help center or in-app support system with “Data Deletion Request” as the ticket type.
5.4 Third-Party App Data Deletion
If you connected to Kineiro through a third-party app (like Facebook or Google):
- You can also request deletion through the third-party platform's data management tools
- Facebook users: Navigate to Settings → Apps and Websites → Kineiro → Remove
- We will process deletion requests received through these channels as well
6. Identity Verification
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion, we must verify your identity before processing deletion requests:
6.1 Verification Methods
- Account Login: Self-service deletion requires password authentication
- Email Verification: Confirmation link sent to your registered email
- Security Questions: Answer account security questions
- Additional Verification: For high-value accounts, we may request additional proof of identity
6.2 Authorized Representatives
If you are making a request on behalf of someone else, you must provide:
- Written authorization from the account holder
- Proof of your identity
- Proof of the account holder's identity
- Legal documentation (for deceased persons or legal guardianship)
7. Deletion Timeline and Process
7.1 Immediate Actions
Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we immediately:
- Disable your account and prevent login access
- Stop all scheduled posts and automated actions
- Revoke all social media access tokens and connections
- Cancel any active subscriptions
- Flag your data for deletion in our systems
7.2 Complete Deletion Timeline
- Within 24 hours: Account disabled, active systems cleared
- Within 7 days: Primary databases purged
- Within 30 days: All production systems cleared
- Within 90 days: Backup systems overwritten
- After 90 days: Complete deletion from all systems (except legally required retained data)
7.3 Deletion Confirmation
Once deletion is complete, we will send you a final confirmation email to the address you provided in your deletion request. This email confirms:
- The date your deletion request was processed
- What data was deleted
- Any data retained for legal compliance (with reasons and retention period)
- Information about backup deletion timeline
8. Partial Deletion and Data Export
8.1 Selective Data Deletion
You may request deletion of specific types of data while keeping your account active:
- Delete specific social media connections
- Remove uploaded content and media
- Clear analytics and performance history
- Delete support ticket history

Important: Export your data before submitting a deletion request, as data cannot be recovered after deletion is complete.
9. Consequences of Data Deletion
Before requesting deletion, please understand the following consequences:
9.1 Immediate Effects
- You will lose access to your Kineiro account permanently
- All scheduled posts will be cancelled and not published
- Analytics and performance data will be unavailable
- Team members will lose access to shared content and resources
- Active subscriptions will be cancelled (no refund for unused time)
9.2 Irreversibility
Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You cannot recover:
- Your account or any account information
- Content, posts, or media you created
- Analytics history and performance reports
- Brand voice settings and customizations
- Any data associated with your account
9.3 Creating a New Account
After deletion, you may create a new Kineiro account, but:
- You will start with a fresh account (no data carried over)
- Previous subscription history will not apply
- You may be eligible for the free trial if available for new users
- Your email address will be available for reuse after deletion is complete
10. Special Circumstances
10.1 Team and Enterprise Accounts
For team or enterprise accounts:
- Team members can request deletion of their individual user data
- Account owners must request deletion of the entire organization account
- Shared content may be retained if other team members have ownership rights
- Contact your account administrator or our enterprise support team
10.2 Deceased Users
Family members or legal representatives may request deletion of a deceased user's account by providing:
- Death certificate or equivalent legal documentation
- Proof of relationship or legal authority
- Valid identification
